    Caroline Jevring qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1983. She spent seven years working in research and companion animal practice before entering industry. In 1992, she moved to Sweden with her husband, where she has set up a veterinary practice management company in Stockholm.

Abstract

Today's veterinary surgeon should measure professional success not by the number of 'interesting cases' or conditions diagnosed and treated, but by the number of animals on the practice records that are enjoying perfect health, says CAROLINE JEVRING. Here, she discusses the value of preventive health care in small animal practice
