    Charles Thursby-Pelham qualified at Cambridge in 1987 with a merit in surgery. After a period in mixed practice in Oakham, he joined an equine practice in Ashford, Kent. In 1991, he was awarded the RCVS certificate in equine practice and is now in mixed practice in Berkeley, Gloucestershire.


PRACTICE premises and the people who work in them are at risk of theft and personal attack. However, there are many precautions which can be taken to prevent such incidents or to limit the damage should they occur. In this article, Charles Thursby-Pelham outlines some of the ways to protect a practice and its staff.
