CPD: what it should mean to every MRCVS

    Charmian Lewis-Jones is the senior partner in a mixed, mainly agricultural, practice in Devon. She has been a member of RCVS Council since 1984 and for most of that time has been involved with CPD developments. She is a past chairman of the RCVS/BVA joint CPD committee and current chairman of the RCVS CPD subcommittee.

Abstract

IN July 1997, the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons launched the CPD Record Card. Since then, CPD has had a higher profile in the profession than ever before. Here, Charmian Lewis-Jones, chairman of the Royal College's CPD subcommittee, explains the background to the record card system and highlights some of the recent developments.
