  1. Neil Forbes

    Neil Forbes qualified from the RVC in 1983. He gained RCVS specialist status in 1992, Fellowship of the Royal College by examination in exotic bird medicine in 1996, and became a diplomate of the European College of Avian Medicine and Surgery (ECAMS) in 1997. He currently heads the Avian and Exotic Animal Department at Lansdown Referral Services in Stroud, and also holds regular clinics and lectures at Bristol university. He directs the only ECAMS-approved residency programme outside of Utrecht university, which is based jointly at Lansdown Veterinary Surgeons and Bristol university.
