  1. Clive Matkin

Clive Matkin is the clinical director of CVS Haygate Veterinary Centre in Telford, Shropshire. He was the practice's senior partner until April 2002.

Abstract

ONCE a veterinary practice has become established, setting up branch surgeries in the surrounding areas can be a valuable way of increasing the number of clients and the size of the business. Here, Clive Matkin draws on his experience of setting up a number of branch surgeries over the past 30 years to describe some of the benefits - and pitfalls - of this means of practice expansion.
