Abstract

THE concept of health planning is not new. However, changes in legislation and farm animal practice in recent years makes this a particularly appropriate time to review this area. For the experienced farm or mixed animal practitioner, health planning will be rewarding work. This article discusses how to get started and where to focus attention. It also highlights various opportunities for adding value to health plans for the benefit of farmers and veterinary surgeons alike.
