Reducing practice costs

    Pippa Reffold worked in various industries and roles before starting her own management and human resources company. She holds a diploma in company direction with the Institute of Directors and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She currently specialises in coaching and mentoring all levels within a business to improve profitability and performance. She conducts bespoke training and development programmes, and acts as a human resource and/or nonexecutive director for many of her clients.


THE current financial situation has been the main topic of discussion in the media in recent months and, this time around, it seems that veterinary practices are not immune from the consequences. Pippa Reffold believes that saving money is something that all staff should be involved in when times are hard, and suggests ways of lowering the costs involved in running a practice.
