Abstract

Veterinary practise encompasses a wide range of procedures, from simple vaccinations and blood testing through to anaesthesia and complex surgery. An article in the January 2012 issue of In Practice (vol 34, pp 52-53) set out the procedures that can be legally delegated to veterinary nurses within the practice under Schedule 3 of the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966. The quiz below gives you a chance to test your knowledge on which members of the practice team are legally permitted to perform which tasks. Answers are on pages 492-493.
