  1. Ross Ashley Machin

Abstract

Reptiles are becoming more frequent visitors to veterinary practices across the UK and it is therefore important that general practitioners are able to identify common diseases in these animals. This article describes tests that can be performed on a day-to-day basis to identify a parasitic infection and gives a brief overview of the frequently encountered gastrointestinal parasites found in reptiles that are kept as pets or in collections and may be seen in practice in the UK.
