    Gillian Page qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1988. A head nurse position in Pinner was followed by a degree at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. In 2000, she joined the College of Animal Welfare and was involved in setting up Scotland's first degree programme in veterinary nursing. She and her husband Tony are partners in Ayrton Veterinary Centre, Whitburn. The new purposebuilt facility was designed and part project managed by Tony and Gillian.
